Work progress

Work continues at a good pace on the construction of the SEGRO Logistics Park in San Fernando de Henares I, located in the first ring of Madrid. These facilities will be state-of-the-art and will stand out for their neutral carbon footprint and Breeam Excellent sustainability certification.

The logistics warehouse, covering more than 30,000 m2 and with 166,000 m3 of temperature-controlled storage space, is already in the process of executing the floor slabs and finishing the facades.

At the same time, the execution of two vital phases in the development of this project, such as the refrigeration panels of the freezing chambers and the entire cold production system to generate the -20ºC required in these chambers, has been successfully initiated.

Within the 56,000 m2 plot, the 7,000 m2 of green area developed by SEGRO for the employees of the logistics center, who will work in 2,500 m2 offices located in the same building, stand out.

With work expected to be completed by the end of 2024, at Carbonell Figueras we continue working to successfully complete the construction of one of the future logistics centers of reference in the sector.
